Meet Rachel Dahlen

I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin in Green Bay. I immediately developed a passion for cosmetic nursing and I devoted my career to the skin and cosmetic injectable specialty. As a cosmetic nurse, I have had the privilege of treating patients with Botox & Juvederm since 2009. I have acquired a comprehensive amount of continuing education and was trained by some top plastic surgeons in the industry with one-on-one training.

Ever since I was little I’ve been obsessed with science, and as I grew older and continued my education and training as a nurse, I became fascinated by applying the latest in scientific developments to help us all look our personal best.

The fact of the matter is, we all age, but I believe it’s possible to slow down the hands of time – ever so slightly – by taking advantage of services like Botox and fillers. My philosophy is all about creating results that leave my clients looking natural and refreshed – not overdone. When that happens, the results leave you feeling more confident with the reflection you see in the mirror. Helping my clients on that journey is an honor and a privilege that makes every day personally rewarding which is why I absolutely love my job.

Tell Us More About Yourself

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE A CAREER IN COSMETIC NURSING?

Ever since I was little I’ve been obsessed with science, and as I grew older and continued my education and training as a nurse, I became fascinated by applying the latest in scientific developments to help us all look our personal best.

The fact of the matter is, we all age, but I believe it’s possible to slow down the hands of time – ever so slightly – by taking advantage of services like Botox and fillers. My philosophy is all about creating results that leave my clients looking natural and refreshed – not overdone. When that happens, the results leave you feeling more confident with the reflection you see in the mirror. Helping my clients on that journey is an honor and a privilege that makes every day personally rewarding which is why I absolutely love my job!

WHAT’S THE MOST COMMON QUESTION YOU RECEIVE FROM NEW CLIENTS?

The most common question I receive is, “Will my treatment look natural?” And my answer is always the same, “Yes! It can and it should!” But in order for that to happen, you need to ensure you are working with someone who is skilled and committed to investing in the latest training and technology. That’s a real passion for me. I soak up every opportunity I can to learn and enhance my craft. I consider myself a lifelong student of my trade, which was probably instilled in me growing up with a dad who was a teacher. The field of cosmetic science is always evolving, and I believe that I owe it to myself and my clients to keep current on the latest developments and best practices so I can help my clients achieve the most optimal results possible.

WHO SHOULD COME TO SEE YOU?

Honestly, anyone who has ever been curious about a cosmetic procedure and who wants to look their personal best. One of my favorite parts about my job is consultations. I love meeting new people and helping them understand the benefits they can achieve with established skincare routines and by taking advantage of the latest in medical treatments, like Botox or fillers. There is zero pressure to move forward with a treatment during our first visit – it’s a chance for you to get to know me, for me to get to know you, and most importantly, for you to ask any question that might be giving you hesitation. From there, we’ll work together to develop a plan that’s right for you.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR FREE TIME?

I love the outdoors and it’s important for me to stay active. Most recently, I hiked across the Grand Canyon, which is an adventure I’ll never forget. I also spend as much time as possible with my son, who’s now a student at Minnesota State University of Moorhead. And, for more than 20 years, I’ve been a member of the 188th Army Band of the North Dakota National Guard, playing both the flute and piccolo. Representing the men and women who have served or are actively serving our country is incredibly humbling, and it is an experience I know I’ll treasure for the rest of my life.
